ART THAT TRANSFORMS PROJECT

The "Art that Transforms" project is mainly focused on educational development. The activities are creative and playful, developing the human potential of adolescents, providing adequate conditions for their emotional development, self-esteem, concentration, perceptual ability, ability to think and understand, as well as social and literary inclusion.
The project emerged in 2017, from recreational activities developed in the Legal Family Program after school hours, where we came across the reality of teenagers already experiencing situations of theft and family abandonment, thus arose the proposal of educational activities and remuneration with the creation of paintings with literary themes and free themes, using the Mosaic technique with EVA discarded in schools, handcrafted recycled paper, water-based paint, magazines and other reusable materials.
This remuneration comes from the sale of the paintings, developed in workshops with the teenagers, where 30% of the net revenue from each work is given to the teenager responsible for the work.

CREATIVE LITERATURE

CLARICE LISPECTOR'S THINKING COLLECTION

Art developed from the reuse of discarded material

We promote immersion in literature for our students in a creative way. After reading the book and receiving an explanation from the teachers, they learn how to reproduce the art represented by the writer, in this case a rabbit. We use the craquelure technique with eggshells applied to cardboard from discarded boxes and straws made from magazine pages to make the frames.
